INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR MISS SOUTH AFRICA PRE-TEEN
I have always envisioned myself as an advocate for environmental awareness and change as an environmental scientist and environmental lawyer. Since the environment is unable to communicate for itself I aim to be that voice, by communicating in an official language on its behalf. I want to make a global impact by starting within my own community. When I was crowned International Junior Miss South Africa Preteen, it felt surreal, it was as though I was a South African Cinderella. The statement ball gown, shiny shoes and hair & makeup done to perfection while everyone stared in awe as I ascend the staircase. That was just the cherry on top as IJMSA had so much to offer me. I’m the South African Cinderella who didn’t receive a prince but a crown of opportunities because the crown itself didn’t just represent the hard work that I put into achieving my dreams. The crown means so much more, for it symbolises how I was crowned with opportunities to better myself and those around me. I am Kgabiso Ndhlovu, a powerhouse. I am Kgabiso Ndhlovu, the girl chasing after her dreams. I am Kgabiso Ndhlovu, a force to be reckoned with!
